To talk to Dan, is to talk with genuine and limitless potential.

Don’t get me wrong: I am not full of myself. I know that in order to grow I need to read material in my field of “work” and, more dancastleblogimportantly apply it in my life and business. I say “work” because really, I don’t work. I run an online business that feels like a game. Heck! It is a game… it takes hours and hours to build up and make profitable, but when I look back on the time I’ve spent working on it, I feel like I’ve been playing a game where every now and then I feel I should take a break and go play some Badminton, go to the gym or go for a drink.

Do you think you can handle that? Of course you can. So where do I draw my energy?

Well for starters, I’m brutally honest with myself. For example, I know that I recharge myself when I spend time away from humanity. This could be an afternoon in the woods talking to myself or an entire summer of doing nothing but reading books in my field of interest. You may already know what gets you back on your feet but do you know exactly what throws you off? Do you do your utmost best to avoid those things to the best of your ability? You’d be surprised to find out that most people put up with a lot of crap.

What are my pet peeves? What are those things that I will take drastic measures to be 104% sure that they don’t affect me again?

Being Late

Now I can handle me being late by a few minutes. However the next time I’m leaving to go the same place (or a similar one) I’ll take an Europe Collageextra 30 min. to be sure I make it on time. I don’t do this because I’m a punctual-freak: I take these crazy measures because when I’m on time I feel like a king, and when I’m late (for class, interview, speech, meeting, etc.) I feel like an idiot. A damn fool!

This works the other way around too. Don’t make me wait more than 10 min. if we’re meeting up… I’ll have a smile when you actually see me, but it might be the last one you see for a long time. This sounds harsh doesn’t it? It sure is. Putting yourself in a state of happiness each and every day can lead to stepping on a few toes. But at the end of the day, I am responsible for me. Only Dan can make 104% sure that Daniel Massicotte is a happy man.

Master the Art of Timing

Never seem to be in a hurry – hurrying betrays a lack of control over yourself, and over time. Always seem patient, as if you know that everything will come to you eventually. Become a detective of the right moment; sniff out the spirit of the times, the trends that will carry you to power. Learn to stand back when the time is not yet ripe, and to strike fiercely when it has reached fruition.

Working For Others

When it comes to business I have this little hint-thing in the back of my mind known as Intuition, aka Instinct. Managing people, leading, taking up the baton, looking for areas of profitability and social networking are areas of excellence. After working at Rona, Tim Hortons, AbitibiBowater and a few other summer jobs I’ve learned one thing: I make a good boss. I’m terrific with people and I’m very friendly while being very strict.wp1-1024

My standard is high.

In fact it’s so high that once I realized how unlikely it was that I would get a managerial position in a company with people under me as I finished studying at McGill, I changed my strategy and got to work building my own businesses and finding people to work for me right away.

I have to say, THAT puts me right in my element.

And that’s why I’ll probably never work for someone. I’m not saying I’m not interested in talking; but I’m happier running my own business that makes a meager $50,000/mo with a few employees and growing it by reading my favorite books and learning from my mentors.

When I’m Happy…

I’m on a roll. I sleep 5-6 hour nights, stay active and have a strong sense of accomplishment at the end of each day. I plan my next day online dpas I fall asleep and ask myself what’s the one thing that if I accomplished would make me feel like I had an excellent day. I set goals and meet them. I read 150 – 300 pgs of recently published books by geniuses like Donald Trump, Tim Ferriss, Bill Gates and Frank Kern in an evening and USE the material I learn from them to make 10 – 50x times the price I paid their books and resources.

I buy books, read them and return them to the store. I don’t own a lot of stuff: which is great because there is almost nothing to distract me from doing what I love: working on my business.

If you aren’t happy right now, take this bit of advice from a 24-year old how knows nothing: Do whatever it is you love doing and chase it like a madman.

Hi Daniel
I was recently reviewing personal development sites in some of the major search engines and I came across your website. Out of all the sites I came across yours really stood out for me and if you could please spare me just 2 minutes I have a business proposition for you as you are in the same market as I am.

After reviewing your site I found that we are both targeting the exact same market, though we are not in competition with each other.

I have been studying this target market for quite some time and would like to present you with the opportunity to increase your income for 5 minutes work. You will be provided with the marketing materials, all you need to do is send out an email to your ezine list or add a graphic to your website, and you can make money.

You can do this by signing up to the affiliate program found here:

http://budurl.com/attractionaccelerate

By promoting this product you can earn a commission without ever having to handle customer service or ship any products. It’s a fantastic way to make money pretty much out of thin air!

By working together we have the potential to create an additional revenue source for both of us – without investing any money or even any time. Because we share the same target market, your customers are guaranteed to be interested in the product.

An affiliate arrangement is a sure-fire way to make that interest work to our mutual benefit. To sign up to this affiliate program visit:

I offer this partnership very selectively, so please do act fast if you wish to go ahead with this.

Finally Daniel I know you are a very busy person and I’d like to thank you for reading this email whether you choose to promote and make some extra cash or not. Keep up the good work!

Sincerely

Gary

PS. I hope you don’t mind me emailing you, it’s just your website really stood out from the others I came across during my research.
