Another great way you can use scouts is to scout out a village that is attacking you.
If Village B is attacking Village A (and you own village A), you can always send scouts from another village to find out what kind of attack is being sent at you.
For example, take a look at this screenie:
This village was attacking me, and with only 15 minutes before that attack landed i got was able to send out my scouts and get a report (27 seconds before the actual attack landed on my village).
I concluded that it wasn’t much of an attack… probably macemen, since there weren’t any in the village.
I was right. Unfortunately one of them survived the raid on my town. Still, I knew whether I wanted to pull my catapults and Imperians out of the village first.
