clusterartI’m beginning to have second thoughts about “The Art of the Cluster”.

It’s a great trick to use if you don’t want to spend all your resources on defensive troops.

But what if there are so many wonderful chiefing prospects in the nearby area, that not chiefing them would be ignorant and stupid?

Don’t get me wrong, if you don’t know how to protect your hammer or don’t have many allies nearby there’s nothing better than having your villages bunched up. If nothing else it servers as an excuse to attack someone (not that you need one!) plunks a village right next to you (how dare they!). You can also use the Counter Scout Advantage very effectively too.

On the other hand, you can’t have 2x oasis per village if you have them all bunched up.

Both sides have their dis/advantages which need to be taken into consideration with your playing style. If you cannot be on the computer 24/7 I wouldn’t recommend spreading out too much.
